The Herbal Hunter

Introducing, Jesper Launder, agency friend and expert forager. Move over Bear Grills, I ain't eating no slugs! The 'Herbal Hunter' will be around over the weekend to give a number of walks and talks about nature's bounty, so you can fill up on wild food that you have picked.

By profession Jesper is a Consulting Medical Herbalist and makes his very own remedies with his findings. He is also known to spend his time frequenting woodlands and hedgerows up and down the UK, leading seasonal hunts for wild food and mushrooms. Ask any of the guy's here at IAS about him and I'm sure the replies will be enthusiastic and delivered with a big grin.

I too couldn't contain the smiles when I heard that he is making an appearance at the festival. I have great admiration for anyone who is as knowledgeable as he is, and think that 'expert' sells him short. Once you have had your little adventure with him, you will never look at your environment quite in the same.

His fun and slightly eccentric approach to alfresco eating is not only damn tasty but educational too. When he's not on the telly box and off mixing up potions, we grab him to fill our brains and bellies on agency walks.

I encourage everyone to partake. In particular people who like the following things:

4. Discussions about eating interesting food over a drink
5. Learning about medicinal properties
