News: Look out Glasto, here comes Robbo
Marketing agencies and music festivals do mix and IAS b2b
Marketing is setting out to prove it with the launch of IAStival -
the first festival staged by an agency, which will see the likes of
The Sunshine Underground, Turin Brakes and Rook and the Ravens
perform.
Rob Morrice and the IAS 'gang' are partaking in a training
initiative like no other, and unlike your usual team building
exercises IAS is putting its employees to the test by challenging
them to work together to organise an entire festival.
Volovants and karaoke are banned from the festival, instead it
will feature top headline acts to a total of over 30 live bands,
camping, food and an array of cultural entertainment for the
agency's staff, clients, friends and family to enjoy.
Everyone in the 'know', knows where the IAStival will take place
- the 'IAS Farm'; an exclusive and secret location to hold an event
which is sure to be one of the most unique gatherings of the
year.
Rob Morrice, managing director at IAS commented: "IAS is
recognised within the B2B industry as a pioneer for all things
ground-breaking. We like to do things differently especially when
it comes to our internal culture. By holding the first ever agency
run festival we are upholding our controversial reputation.
"As an agency we are always keen to take on a challenge, so why
not go for the big one? The IAStival is set to go down in B2B
marketing history, perhaps one day festival history."
